Delete your account
You can delete your AlgoChronicle account and everything stored with it at any time, from the website or the Android / iOS app. It takes effect immediately.
Option 1 — delete it yourself (instant)
- Open algochronicle.com/login (or the app) and sign in.
- Go to Your account (tap your profile picture in the top right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm.
Option 2 — ask us by email
Can't sign in? Email chidarlasrujan66@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my AlgoChronicle account”. We delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address, name and profile photo (sign-in is removed).
- Your saved progress: solved problems, review dates and learning-step ticks.
- Your reminder settings: email and push choices, reminder times and time zone.
- Your devices stop receiving your personal reminders.
What is kept
- Nothing tied to your account is kept after deletion — there is no extra retention period.
- Progress saved only in your own browser or device (when not signed in) stays there until you clear the app's or browser's data.
- A device that has notifications turned on keeps an anonymous push address until you turn notifications off; it isn't linked to you.
